Sun 7 September – ANAM SKETCHES at ACO On The Pier – BOOK NOW

ANAM Concerto Competition (Round 2 Thursday)

The ANAM Concerto Competition is an essential part of the performance training. It helps the musicians gain valuable experience and a deeper understanding of what it takes to perform solo with an orchestra. The competition starts in Semester One, where interested musicians record a 20-minute excerpt of a concerto or significant solo work of their choice. These recordings are then reviewed by an expert panel, who select the best performances to move on to the second round.

The musicians who progressed to the second round are competing to be one of the three finalists who will get the exciting opportunity to perform with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra later in the year.

For this performance you can pay what you wish to attend.
Not sure where to start? Feel free to nominate your own price as you wish. All ticket revenue contributes to ANAM’s ability to provide exceptional training for our young musicians and to present public performances throughout the year.

If you are an ANAMate, please consider this ticket complimentary as part of your membership.
