2025 Application Details

Applications for the 2025 ANAM Performance Program have now closed, except for Piano. 

Piano applications close at 11:59 pm AEDT on Sunday, 10 November 2024, with recordings due by Sunday, 24 November 2024.

2025 Piano Applications


ELIGIBILITY 

ANAM extends a warm welcome to all people and is keen to support the diverse needs of all our musicians. We’re a proudly supportive place for people of different sexualities, genders and gender identities, cultures and ethnicities, religious beliefs, ages, and political beliefs. We're committed toinclusive practices and ways to offer the most meaningful support to those who require it.  

Age       
Applicants aged 28 and below on 1 January 2025 are eligible to apply for ANAM’s Performance Program in 2025. Applicants born on or before 1 January 1996 are ineligible to apply. 

Citizenship Status 
Applicants must be either an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident, or a New Zealand Citizen to be eligible to apply.Proof of citizenship or residency will be requested at application. Applicants who provide false information will have their place in the ANAM Program revoked.   

Instruments 
ANAM accepts musicians on the following instruments: 

Flute | Oboe | Clarinet | Bassoon 
Horn | Trumpet | Tenor Trombone | Bass Trombone | Tuba 
Percussion and Timpani | Piano 
Violin | Viola | Cello | Double Bass  

Please note that harp will not be offered in 2025. ANAM reserves the right to change/alter this information at any stage.  


 

HOW TO APPLY 

STEP 1 – Online Application  
Please complete the online application form to apply. A non-refundable application fee of AU$99 is payable on application and proof of citizenship will need to be provided. Applicants under the age of 18 require parent/guardian consent to apply and audition (details must be provided).  

Application forms are due by 11.59pm AEST Sunday 23 June 2024.

STEP 2 – Round One Audition (recorded) 

Once you have completed the online application process you will receive a link to upload the Round 1 audition requirements. 

All files (Audio-Visual recordings and written materials) must be clearly labelled and submitted online via Google Drive by 11.59pm AEST Sunday 21 July 2024.  If you encounter any issues uploading your files, please contact study@anam.com.au  

Applicants will be notified of the result of their Round One audition by Friday 2 August 2024.  

STEP 3 – Round Two Audition (online) 

Successful applicants selected for Round Two will be required to submit additional audition recordings and attend a live online audition and interview via Zoom.  

Audition requirements for Round Two can be found in the links below, with recordings due by 11.59pm AEST Sunday 1 September 2024.  

Online auditions and interviews will take place between Saturday 14 September – Sunday 13 October 2024. Dates will be confirmed with successful applicants in August. Online auditions will be attended by ANAM’s Artistic Director, relevant Faculty, and a member of Program staff.  

Offers for 2025 will be released via email from Friday 25 October 2024.
