ANAM 2026

Join us in 2026 as we celebrate ANAM's 30th year and our final year with Paavali Jumppanen as ANAM Artistic Director.

"Welcome to a very special year of music-making celebrating ANAM’s 30th anniversary. We look back with a sense of pride and accomplishment; we look to the present day with keen curiosity and observation; and most importantly,
we look to our future with optimism and excitement."

— Paavali Jumppanen, ANAM Artistic Director

At the heart of ANAM’s 30th year is the ANAM30 Gala Concert, with Simone Young AM leading the ANAM Orchestra at Melbourne Recital Centre. Celebrating three decades of music-making, we will bring together ANAM musicians past and present to share the stage and celebrate an important chapter in ANAM’s story.

To mark Paavali Jumppanen’s final year as ANAM Artistic Director, we invite you to a special farewell concert Shared Memories planned in recognition of his leadership and the spirit of curiosity and openness he has fostered throughout his time at ANAM.

Thirty years, in human terms, is just the beginning of the most interesting and generous part of life – a time of maturity and new horizons. For ANAM, it’s no different.

We look forward to celebrating with you in 2026!
