FRI 30 MAY – ANAM AT THE CONVENT: YORAM LEVY and DAVID ELTON BOOK NOW

**NEW TIME** ANAM Recital: Harrison Steele-Holmes

Please note: this performance was originally advertised to happen at 1.30pm. Due to unforseen circumstances this performance will now happen at 2pm.

As a musician’s instrumental proficiency develops, so too does their artistic taste and temperament. Each ANAM musician’s recital is a snapshot in time – simultaneously summarising their year of training and revealing glimpses of their future selves. What music excites them? What do they want to communicate? How does their art help them understand the world better? Hear what the next generation of virtuosi have to say, and how, in the 2025 ANAM Recital series.

In 2025 the ANAM Set is back. Musicians in their 3rd year of training present a specially commissioned work as part of their recital program.

Putting the Twah in Courtois

“Come check out a trombone recital with something for everyone — Frank Martin’s Ballade brings the drama, Derek Bourgeois’ trombone quartet adds fun and flair, and Albrechtsberger’s Concerto for Alto Trombone wraps things up with some classical charm.

I’m loving the challenges each piece presents, and exploring new works through the ANAM Set program has been a real highlight.” — Harrison Steele-Holmes
