At the age of 24 Swedish-Norwegian violinist Johan Dalene has performed with leading orchestras and in celebrated recital halls both at home and abroad. His ability to “make his Stradivarius sing like a master” (Le Monde), coupled with his refreshingly honest musicality and engagement with musicians and audiences alike, has won him countless admirers. In 2022, he was named Gramophone’s Young Artist of the Year.
Each year, ANAM presents a series of masterclasses by some of the world’s leading classical instrumentalists and pedagogues, given as part of their work with our musicians on repertoire, technique and performance. These are up-close, 'open lesson' style masterclasses open to a public audience, offering priceless insights into the secrets that lie behind a great performance – and unique learning opportunities for music lovers and aspiring musicians alike.
