About the composer:
Felix graduated with First Class Honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2021, studying composition with Carl Vine and Ben Carey.

His work spans chamber, orchestral, and electronic formats, blending electroacoustic textures with minimalist rhythmic language. In 2024 he composed Rewilding for Omega Ensemble’s CoLAB program, premiered at the Sydney Opera House, and he was selected as the 2026 Layton Emerging Composer Fellow with The Australia Ensemble UNSW.

Felix's collaborative work includes string arrangements for artists such as The Kid LAROI and orchestral writing for the Ministry of Sound Classical 2025 tour. He was nominated for Emerging Screen Composer of the Year at the 2025 APRA AMCOS Screen Music Awards. He is active across film, documentary, and audio drama, including the Music of the Sails installation (Sydney Opera House 50th Anniversary), Stella and Ruth (SWIFF 2023), More Than Human (Antenna 2025), and the audio drama F.A.B.R.I.C. He has penned the current sonic logos for IKEA Australia, Westfield, and Zoos Victoria.

Felix leads miniflora, an ensemble that performs his original concert works merging improvisation, minimalist structures, and electronic processing. He also performs synths in Aquatint, an experimental ambient trio with voice and cello, exploring electroacoustic hybridity and long-form structures. 2026 will see the release of his miniflora EP as well as an original soundtrack release of F.A.B.R.I.C.
