ANAM Concerto Competition Final Preview (Melbourne)

Before the TSO ANAM concerto competitional final on 28 October with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, hear the three finalists present a special Melbourne performance of their thrilling concerto repertoire, with ANAMs Associate Faculty accompanying.

After this performance, the three young musicians will travel to Hobart to contend to achieve the top place in this night of esteemed music performance.

The finalists are:

Oakley Paul (WA) double bass, performing KOUSSEVITZKY Double Bass Concerto, Op. 3, with Peter de Jager (ANAM Associate Faculty) piano

Harry Egerton (QLD) violin, performing BARTOK Violin Concerto No. 2, with Aidan Boase (ANAM Associate Faculty) piano

Joshua Jones (QLD) cello, performing PROKOFIEV Sinfonia Concertante, with Aidan Boase (ANAM Associate Faculty) piano

For this event, tickets booked in advance are offered on a "pay what you wish" basis.

Not sure where to start? Our suggested price is $15, but feel free to nominate more or less (minimum of $2) as you wish. All ticket revenue contributes to ANAM’s ability to provide exceptional training for our young musicians and to present public performances throughout the year.
