Leaves of an Unwritten Diary

In their final concert at ANAM, the Lutosławski Quartet unites with ANAM’s string cohort for a whirlwind of Polish works – from the legendary Lutosławski and Krzysztof Penderecki to contemporary voices Paweł Mykietyn and Marcin Markowicz.

This performance crowns a week of masterclasses, concerts and deep engagement with the breadth of the chamber string repertoire. Alongside string quartets and quintets, the program features unexpected pairings such as a violin–double bass duet, turns inward in Penderecki’s String Quartet No. 3, and culminates in a full string orchestra performance of Bartók’s Divertimento for String Orchestra – a thrilling finale to the Lutosławski Quartet’s residency at ANAM.
