MusiciansLily Tamir-Regev

Lily is a passionate classical musician and educator based in Melbourne/Naarm, and is excited to begin her first year at ANAM in 2026, under the guidance of David Thomas.

As a recent graduate of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne, Lily’s highlights include expanding her skills on Eb Clarinet whilst performing with the University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra on their Asia Tour in 2023.

Lily performs casually with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO), most notably in Mahler's Symphony No. 2 Resurrection as part of the MSO's Season Opening Gala 2025. Lily also participated in Australian Youth Orchestra programs in 2025, performed side-by-side with the Australian String Quartet and alongside MSO musicians at the Brunswick Beethoven Festival. She had a formative experience as Principal Clarinet in Mahler's Symphony No. 5 at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, Poland with the World Jewish Philharmonic, and performed at the Portillo Festival, Chile in 2026.

This year, Lily will continuing exploring new repertoire with her chamber group Aphelion. She looks forward to joining additional chamber ensembles, building strong relationships with fellow musicians whilst expanding her personal musical style.

Outside of music, Lily loves reading, crafts and crosswording.
