ANAM Faculty members Alison Mitchell (flute) and Damien Eckersley (double bass) perform two fabulous works with ANAM Musicians.
Debussy’s orchestral hallmark Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, known for its 'impressionistic' colour and textures, is presented as a chamber transcription by Benno Sachs for eleven solo musicians, allowing each individual to project their own musical ideas towards a collaborative interpretation. Following this, Mozart's joyous Serenade No. 9 in D major, 'Posthorn' is a blend of beauty and buoyancy, demanding both clarity of articulation and virtuosity from all musicians involved.
