Emerging musical leaders from ANAM return once again to The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia to curate two immersive programs in response to the Joseph Brown, 19th and 20th Century Australian Art Collections. Musicians are mentored by ANAM faculty Peter Neville as they explore new territory in this interdisciplinary collaboration.
In October, percussionist Jonathan Parker will perform Nigel Westlake’s Hinchinchin Brooks for solo marimba and electronics and an improvisation inspired by the Australian coastline as explored by artists in the 20th Century Australian Art collection.
