These are up-close, 'open lesson' style masterclasses open to a public audience, offering priceless insights into the secrets that lie behind a great performance – and a unique learning opportunity for music lovers and aspiring musicians alike.
“Sergei Nakariakov plays the trumpet the way the rest of us breathe – if we are lucky.” – San Francisco Chronicle
Sergei Nakariakov has established himself as one of the most sought-after trumpet players on the international stage. Named “The Paganini of the trumpet”, Nakariakov has also brought the flugelhorn to prominence on the concert stage. Born in Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod), he began performing with orchestras at just ten years old and has since appeared at major venues from the Salzburg Festival to the Hollywood Bowl. Known for his astonishing virtuosity and expressive depth, he continues to expand the trumpet repertoire through collaborations with leading orchestras worldwide.
