A musician since he was a wee lad of eight, Perth-born trombonist Jeremy Mazurek is currently in his third year of training at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) studying under Colin Pritchard, principal trombone of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
Jeremy completed his Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2020 under the tutelage of Joshua Davis. In 2021, Jeremy undertook a year of studying composition under Lindsay Vickery at WAAPA, looking to expand his musical and artistic horizons.
He has been a regular casual musician with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra since 2019, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra since 2022, and Orchestra Victoria since 2023.
Outside of music, Jeremy has a love of cooking, watching old movies, going for long walks, Taskmaster, and has a particular fondness for wine and (vegan) cheese.
