ANAM Recital: Fiona Qiu (violin)

ANAM Recitals are an opportunity for musicians to make their own personal musical statement, through performance, repertoire and presentation.

This program represents a journey exploring the brilliance of classic violin pieces: Sibelius, Mozart and Bach.

The Sibelius Violin Concerto is renowned for its unique blend of virtuosity and emotional depth, and includes some of the most well known tunes in the violin repertoire. Audience members will experience the drama and varying intensity between each movement. Contrasting to the Sibelius, the Mozart Violin Sonata K 454 enchants listeners with its joyful light tunes and the lively exchanges between the violin and piano.
