To secure your place in ANAM’s Performance Program, all applicants are required to meet the eligibility criteria and complete the three-step online application process.
ELIGIBILITY
ANAM extends a warm welcome to all people and is keen to support the diverse needs of all our musicians. AGE
Applicants aged 28 and below on 1 January 2025 are eligible to apply for ANAM’s Performance Program in 2025. Applicants born on or before 1 January 1996 are ineligible to apply.
CITIZENSHIP STATUS
Applicants must be either an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident, or a New Zealand Citizen to be eligible to apply. Proof of citizenship or residency will be requested at application. Applicants who provide false information will have their place in the ANAM Program revoked.
INSTRUMENTS
ANAM is now accepting applications for our 2025 Training Program on Piano only, commencing Semester 1 in 2025.
HOW TO APPLY
STEP 1 – ONLINE APPLICATION
Please complete the online application form to apply. A non-refundable application fee of AU$99 is payable on application and proof of citizenship will need to be provided. Applicants under the age of 18 require parent/guardian consent to apply and audition (details must be provided).

STEP 2 – ROUND ONE AUDITION
You will receive a Google Drive link to upload the Round One audition requirements on on Monday 11 November 2024, after applications have closed.
All files (Audio-Visual recordings and written material) must be clearly labelled and submitted online via Google Drive by 11.59pm AEDT Sunday 24 November 2024. If you encounter any issues uploading your files, please contact study@anam.com.au
Applicants will be notified of the result of their Round One audition by Friday 29 November 2024.
STEP 3 – ROUND TWO INTERVIEW/LESSON
Successful applicants selected for Round Two will be required to attend a live interview/live lesson online via Zoom. Online interviews will be attended by ANAM’s Artistic Director, relevant Faculty, and a member of Program staff.
Round 2 results will be released Friday 13 December 2024.
ANAM reserves the right to change and amend audition dates and requirements at any time. All audition materials are collected and stored for the sole purpose of assessing the outcome of your 2025 ANAM application. Recordings are viewed by the ANAM Faculty panel.

- Day One: Friday 28th February (all musicians required)
- Term 1: Monday 3 March – Thursday 17 April
- Term 2: Monday 28 April – Sunday 29 June
- Term 3: Monday 28 July – Sunday 28 September
- Term 4: Monday 6 October – Sunday 30 November
