ANAM Recitals are an opportunity for musicians to make their own personal musical statement, through performance, repertoire and presentation.
"My recital spans across multiple eras of percussion playing, with the composers' influence ranging from Mozart to Kendrick Lamar. You'll hear beautiful melodies on the marimba, jazz and rock on the drum kit, captivating snare drum with tape and three of the most influential solos written for modern timpani.
The pieces that I have been learning have really kick-started the next step in my playing, allowing me to do more than what I thought I could do towards the beginning of this year. I have been really enjoying preparing the various styles, and am getting extremely excited to showcase the breadth of playing that percussion can do." - Steven Bryer
