Hanna is in third year at ANAM under Caroline Henbest and concurrently undertaking a Bachelor of Music Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne.
Hanna grew up in a musical family, beginning violin lessons with her grandfather at the age of two. She fell in love with the viola after forming the Cousin Quartet with her brother and cousins. The quartet was awarded First Prize in the inaugural Musica Viva Strike A Chord competition in 2020, a pivotal experience that led to Hanna to pursue a career in classical music on viola.
Hanna is the violist of ANAM’s Osmana Quartet, formed during her first year at the academy. Osmana enjoyed the opportunity to work with a number of celebrated artists, performing at UKARIA Cultural Centre alongside the Brooklyn Rider String Quartet in 2025 and the Bendigo Chamber Music Festival, 2026. Hanna’s passion lies in chamber music and her dream role would be as a permanent member of a string quartet.
Hanna has performed with the Australian Youth Orchestra since 2022, and was appointed Principal Viola in 2024, participating in a range of orchestral projects and the International Tour 2025.
Outside of her studies, Hanna loves travelling and discovering new places through music. At the beginning of 2025, she attended PortilloFest, a chamber music festival in Chile, which combined her interests in performing, meeting new people, and exploring different parts of the world.
