Congratulations to Johnny van Gend (violin), winner of the 2019 ANAM Concerto Competition, and to James Morley (cello) for winning the Audience Choice at the 2019 ANAM Concerto Competition Preview held in Melbourne last week!
An extra round of applause goes out to Johnny, James and third finalist Cassandra Slater (flute) for their high quality performances – all three musicians gave their best to the performance, and it was a prize in itself to be able to share the stage with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra (TSO).
The ANAM Concerto Competition Final is presented in partnership with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and is generously supported by Lady Potter AC.
