ANAM Set Composer (2021)
The piece I composed for the inaugural ANAM Set, In flesh was created through collaboration. I feel very lucky to have worked with Hamish Jamieson (cello 2022) who brought not only endless skill and craft to their artistic practice, but the kind of openness and communication that really led our imaginations further.
The opportunity came at a time when I was looking to explore compositional language that was more personal for me, and the collaboration provided an environment that allowed for my ideas to grow, and to feel supported in taking risks.
