I am a Non-Executive Director with more than 15 years’ experience, an entrepreneur and investor in businesses. I am a founder and managing partner of restaurant businesses in Melbourne, I have been deeply involved with the food, wine and hospitality industry since 2002. Now I use my experiences, networks and skills to work with organisations in other sectors.
I am guided by key principles: identifying and backing new and emerging talent, developing and communicating strong brands, running ethical businesses that are profitable and sustainable in the long term and innovating in complex and dynamic economic, regulatory and legal contexts.
My strengths include my ability to build deep and rich relationships across business, government (both State and Federal) and the not-for-profit sector and my capacity to build teams to implement new ideas and then transition to business as usual. As a board member I am interested in balancing strategic and operational approaches. My focus is on helping the organisations I work with to operate more efficiently and effectively.
