Mostly Mozart: Drama of the Winds

ANAM Artistic Director, Pavaali Jumppanen, performs with and directs ANAM musicians in a woodwind focused program of acclaimed works from Brett Dean, Martinů and Mozart.

Brett Dean’s Polysomnography captivates and distorts the particular, drawing inspiration from sleep patterns. Followed by Martinů’s Sextet for Piano and Wind which exhibits his textured writing and vibrant harmonic language. Ending with the layered lyricism of Mozart’s Quintet for Piano and Winds.

Pavaali Jumppanen and ANAM Musicians create an exciting palate in this electrifying orchestral landscape.
