ANAM Celebrates 2021

As ANAM closes another year, we would like to congratulate our musicians whose passion for music making has been an inspiration to all of us during this year challenging times. We would also like to give recognition to the outstanding programs and performances initiated and led by some of our 2021 cohort.

ANAMobbligato Chamber Music Prize supported by ANAMobbligato donors awarded to Artamidae Quartet (Nadia Barrow, Fiona Qiu, Harry Swainston and Donica Tran) and the O Trio (Oliver Crofts, Oliver Russell, Oscar Wong)
ANAMobbligato Chamber Music Encouragement Prize supported by ANAMobbligato donors  awarded to Mozart Piano and Winds Quintet (Noah Rudd, Oliver Crofts, Thomas St John, Claudia Leggett, Kathy Chow) and Islay Trio (Rollin Zhao, Daniel Chiou, Caleb Salizzo)

The ADFAS Yarra Prize for the Most Outstanding Program in a Recital asupported by ADFAS Yarra awarded to Amanda Pang (piano, 2021)
Nick Deutsch Prize - Encouragement Award for a 1st year musician supported by Nick Deutsch awarded to William Kinmont (trombone, NSW)
Brett Dean Prize for the most outstanding performance of an Australian work in an ANAM recital  supported by Brett Dean awarded to James Morley (cello, 2021)
St Silas Prize for the most outstanding First Year Performance in an ANAM recital  supported by St Silas Anglican Church awarded to Emily Su (violin, 2021)
ANAM Volunteers' Prize for an outstanding ANAM citizen supported by ANAM Volunteers awarded to Cian Malikides (trombone, NSW)
Ursula Hoff Institute prize for the most outstanding performance of a Mozart work in an ANAM recital supported by the Ursula Hoff Institute awarded to Caleb Salizzo (piano, QLD) and Daniel Chiou (cello, QLD)
Prize for the most outstanding performance of a female composed work in an ANAM recital supported by ANAM's female staff members awarded to Jye Todorov (bassoon, 2021)
Four Winds Prize supported by Four Winds awarded to Nathan Gatenby (percussion, QLD)
