Each year, musicians from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) are given the opportunity to curate performances at NGV Australia responding to NGV exhibitions and collections. The only professional performance training institute of its kind, ANAM is dedicated to training exceptional young classical musicians from across Australia and New Zealand.

In October NGV and ANAM unite to present classical music performances inspired by The Joseph Brown Collection.

Aditya Bhat (percussion/electronics), Sola Hughes (violin) and Kina Lin-Wilmoth (bassoon) will perform sympoietics of colour and form – an improvised composition which translates the works of the Joseph Brown Collection into a collaborative musical score.
