ANAM Recitals enable each musician to make their own personal musical statement, through performance, repertoire and presentation.
Come along and experience a wide variety of music ranging from some of the very early tuba recital repertoire all the way to a world premiere (and mostly mammal themed pieces, too)! This recital features works for or by notable tuba players of the mid to late 20th century in the US and Germany. Audiences will be treated to the versatile ability of the tuba in a solo AND chamber context; ranging from serious, earnest and ominous roles, to the more light and comic characters that the tuba can represent.
