ANAM Recitals enable each musician to make their own personal musical statement, through performance, repertoire and presentation.
'Retrouvailles' is a French word which doesn't have a direct translation but can be defined as 'the happiness of meeting someone after a very long time or a reunion'. This will be the theme for my recital which will explore the French flute repertory from 1830 - present; each work being united with one another, pieces that I am reuniting with and reuniting them with the audience. All the composers have links to each other, whether it being friends who studied together, contemporaries, or have been influenced by one another.
