ANAM Recital: William Huxtable

A common saying is that the violin shares a close resemblance to the human voice. My 2017 recital which I title Cantabile will showcase the violin’s incredible ability to ‘sing’ its melodies. It could have you humming Bach in the car ride home, whistling Schubert on a leisurely stroll down Bank St or waking the neighbours with your morning shower rendition of Barber’s Violin Concerto.

JS BACH Largo from Violin Sonata no. 3 in C major BWV1005
SCHUBERT Sonatina no. 3 for violin and piano in G minor op. 137 D408
