ANAM Recitals enable each musician to make their own personal musical statement, through performance, repertoire and presentation.
Beat the Monday morning blues with a dose of exciting violin repertoire - Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Britten!
For years, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor has cemented itself firmly as my favourite piece in the violin concerto repertory so I am very excited to finally perform this much loved work. The first movement will be bookended by Beethoven's joyful Violin Sonata no. 1 in D Major and Benjamin Britten's Three Pieces for violin and piano. This program is equal parts tender and playful; emotive and exciting. I hope it will inject some fun and liveliness into the start of your week.
