ANAM Recitals enable each musician to make their own personal musical statement, through performance, repertoire and presentation.
From singing, joyful melodies to percussive, jarring dissonances, and everything in between
Together, the music of Schubert and Prokofiev portray almost every conceivable emotion. Schubert's Sonata in A major is an uplifting duo between violin and piano. The singing melodies can tug at the heartstrings, while the faster passages can stir excitement. In stark contrast, Prokofiev's Second Violin Concerto paints a much more tragic picture. The haunting melodies and jarring dissonances create a tumultuous, heart-wrenching atmosphere.
