Described as ‘positively ecstatic’ and ‘profoundly moving, subtle and exuberant’, the KIAZMA Piano Duo brings together the talents and infectious musical connection of Aura Go and Tomoe Kawabata. This second ANAM Artists tour will welcome home Go from Helsinki, where she has enjoyed an active and multifaceted performing career over the past six years, reuniting her with old friend and colleague Kawabata, a sought-after soloist in Europe and Japan and a leading figure in the performance of Japanese piano music. KIAZMA presents an unmissable four-hand program that showcases the unique subtlety and intimacy as well as the gripping dynamism and power of four-hand playing. The program pays tribute to Debussy in the 100th year after his death and culminates in Stravinsky’s electrifying Rite of Spring.
