2017 ANAM Professional Performance Program

The ANAM Professional Performance Program is a non-accredited individually based program, structured to meet the optimum developmental requirements of the individual student. The annual program each student undertakes is moderated by a Student Performance Agreement (SPA), an agreement articulating their goals and objectives, as agreed between the student, principal teacher and the Artistic Director at the commencement of the program. Each SPA articulates priorities, expectations and goals with regard to:

  • Public performance and competitions
  • Technical goals
  • External activities (competitions, performances, etc)
  • The SPA also articulates expectations with regard to:
               - Attitude, behavior and emotional maturity
               - Teamwork, attendance and application

The ANAM Professional Performance Program is open to the following instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Tuba, Percussion, Harp, Piano.

Audition Repertoire and Information:

Applicants are to prepare audition repertoire as follows:

  • Prepare cadenzas where applicable
  • Prepare works in full (where applicable)
  • The panel reserves the right to hear whole or part of any nominated work
  • Changes of repertoire can not always be accommodated, please contact ANAM program assistant, Caitlin Reid (c.reid@anam.com.au) for more information
  • Candidates must provide one bound copy of selected repertoire for both first and second round auditions for the panel
  • Candidates must provide their own accompanists
