In 2021, Josiah will be collaborating with William Barton for The ANAM Set.

Josiah commenced his journey playing the French horn at Blackburn High School under the tutelage of Spiros Kessaris, before moving on to study with Saul Lewis at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, where he held the position of Principal Horn of the University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for three years, and received numerous scholarships for performance merit throughout his studies at the University of Melbourne.

Some career highlights include playing with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Western Australian Symphony Orchestra and Victorian Opera, touring with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and playing most frequently as a casual musician with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Josiah has also appeared as Principal Horn with Melbourne Opera.

In 2020 Josiah will undertake his second year of training at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), learning from Ben Jacks and Andrew Bain.
