She has also been a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra since 2014, touring Europe and China in 2016 and 2019. Aside from performing, Emily is also a passionate music educator, both as a private violin teacher as well as orchestral tutor at the NSW Public Schools Arts Unit, at events such as State Music Camp, Schools Spectacular and the 2018 UK/Ireland Tour.

Emily has a strong interest in chamber music and was a member of the Cumberland String Quartet at the Sydney Conservatorium with whom she travelled to Italy, Germany, Austria and the UK to study with pedagogues such as Eberhard Feltz, Johannes Meissl and Tobias Lea. Emily has enjoyed tutorials with members of the Dover, Takács and Borodin String Quartets, as well as masterclasses with Ray Chen, Midori Gotō, Karen Gomyo, Isabelle van Keulen and Anthony Marwood.

In the future, Emily hopes to be engaged professionally as a chamber and orchestral musician as well as teaching a small studio of violin students.
