In December 2019, Phoebe graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from The Juilliard School, where she studied with Itzhak Perlman and Catherine Cho, and supported by the Dorothy DeLay Violin Scholarship.

Phoebe has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in concerts throughout the United States, England, France, Norway, Germany, Israel and Australia. She attended the Perlman Music Program Summer Music School 2013-2016, and the Chamber Music Workshop in 2017. Phoebe has also been awarded fellowships to Aspen Music Festival and School (US), the Fontainebleau School of Fine Arts (France) and the Valdres Sommersymfoni (Norway). In 2014, Phoebe was named a Young Arts Winner by the National Young Arts Foundation, and had the opportunity to work with Mikhail Baryshnikov in New York. She has also been a awarded several prizes in national competitions in both Australia and the US.

Throughout her time at The Juilliard School, Phoebe has been privileged to work with wonderful conductors including Alan Gilbert, Jeffrey Milarsky, Pablo Heras-Casado and Michael Tilson Thomas. She has performed in masterclasses for the Chamber Music Society of the Lincoln Center, with New York Philharmonic co-concertmaster Sheryl Staples, and in Germany with the Mandelring Quartet. She has received chamber music coaching from Emmanuel Ax, Donald Weilerstein, Joel Krosnick, Roger Tapping, Carol Rodland and MerryPeckham.

In 2011 and 2012, Phoebe was awarded her Associate and Licentiate Performance Diplomas, both with distinction. She performed throughout Sydney and has been an invited soloist with The Mosman Symphony Orchestra and the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra. Phoebe began violin studies at age five in the Suzuki program and then studied for many years in the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Rising Stars Program. After attending the Perlman Music Program in 2013, she moved to New York to continue studies in the Pre-College Division of The Juilliard School, where she was concertmaster of the Juilliard Pre-College Orchestra. Along with her studies, Phoebe spends her time performing for Concerts In Motion, a NYC-based not-for-profit organisation providing uplifting, live music to people who are homebound, veterans, people with disabilities, and people who are homeless.

In 2020, Phoebe will commence training at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) with Dr Robin Wilson, and as an Emerging Artist with the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
