Australian National Academy musicians have proceeded to luminous international and national careers making a presence all over the globe - Paris, New York, London and Berlin.

In 2008 Academy double bassist, Matthew McDonald, took up a Principal Position with the Berlin Philharmonic, pianist Hoang Pham now residing in New York, won the Mozart prize at the illustrious Cleveland International Piano Competition. Pham was also a chosen participant of the Sydney International Piano Competition and proceeded to the semi-finals. 2008 pianist Bonnie Brown takes up a year scholarship at the prestigious Cite des Arts in Paris.
